Executive Director - Rogersville Housing Authority

Rogersville Housing Authority has an immediate opening for Executive Director. RHA is a 204-unit housing authority head quartered in Rogersville, TN with units in Rogersville, Church Hill, and Rutledge, TN. As ED, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the RHA, which includes, among other duties, creating and controlling the budget; liaison between RHA and HUD to insure clean audits; manage and supervise staff; insure positive and professional relations with the tenants and community; and applying for and managing federal grant funds for continued improvement of the housing units. ED will report directly to the Board of Commissioners. Candidates should live within service area of Hawkins County or Grainger County or be willing to relocate. Qualifications should include:

• Exceptional communication skills both orally and in writing, and able to resolve conflicts

• Experience in supervision and management

• Background in finance and/or accounting

• Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets

• College degree preferred but not required

• Must be bondable

• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening

• Must have valid TN driver’s license
