2026 TAHRA Awards Program!


Nomination Deadline: Friday, March 27, 2026

TAHRA is now accepting nominations for the 2026 TAHRA Awards Program!

These awards recognize outstanding individuals and housing authorities for their leadership, dedication, innovation, and positive impact on the communities they serve.

Awards Presented At: 2026 TAHRA Spring Conference Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Award categories include:

Hall of Fame Award
Recognizes an individual who has demonstrated long-term dedication, leadership, and service to TAHRA through sustained commitment and professional excellence.

Community Impact Award
Honors a housing authority that has made a measurable, positive impact within its community through initiatives such as economic development, partnerships, neighborhood revitalization, or expanded resident services.

Resident Service Award
Recognizes housing authorities that provide outstanding resident service programs, including education, self-sufficiency initiatives, youth development, elderly services, or innovative community projects.

Development Award
Honors housing authorities that have completed significant development or redevelopment efforts, including energy-efficient upgrades, green initiatives, new construction, or major property improvements.

Submission Requirements:
Each nomination requires a 100–250-word narrative describing accomplishments and measurable impact. Supporting documentation may also be included.
